We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS/RMS), ReIM, RPM, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting Oracle Retail applications while ensuring high-quality delivery and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, review, and test Oracle Retail application components based on technical specifications.
- Work extensively on Oracle Retail RMS v14/v16, ReIM, and RPM modules.
- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, dynamic SQL, materialized views, and collections.
- Create and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for batch processing and automation.
- Prepare technical design documents based on functional requirements.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to nightly batch processing and production applications.
- Analyze long-running queries and batch jobs and recommend performance tuning improvements.
- Maintain source code repositories and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and support teams to deliver effective solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail application development.
- Strong experience in Oracle Retail RMS (v14/v16), ReIM, and RPM.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL Development.
- Strong knowledge of:Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Packages
- Triggers
- Dynamic SQL
- Materialized Views
- PL/SQL Collections
- Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
- Working knowledge of Pro*C Programming.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client-facing and service delivery experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Overall understanding of Oracle Retail Suite modules.
- Experience working on multiple Oracle Retail implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle ADF is a plus.
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
