Oracle R12 EBS Technical Advance Pricing

Role summary

Provide technical expertise for Oracle EBS R12 Advanced Pricingdesigning, building and supporting pricing engines, integrations and automation to deliver accurate, high-performance pricing across order-to-cash processes.

Core responsibilities

Design and develop customizations for Advanced Pricing: pricing engine extensions, modifiers, qualifiers, formula functions and pricing rules. Build and enhance PL/SQL packages, Concurrent Programs, APIs and custom PL/SQL-based pricing logic.

Implement integrations between Advanced Pricing and Order Management, Receivables, Inventory and external systems using interfaces, flat-files, middleware or web services.

Develop data migration and bulk-load solutions for price lists, price breaks, promotions and customer-specific pricing using APIs, SQL scripts or loaders. Create custom reports and templates using Forms/Reports or BI/XML Publisher for pricing validations and audit.

Troubleshoot pricing calculation issues, tune SQL/PLSQL for high-volume price computations and optimize concurrent processing.

Produce clear technical design documents, test cases, deployment packages and runbooks; support UAT and hypercare.

Must-have skills

Hands-on technical experience with Oracle EBS R12 Advanced Pricing (pricing engine, modifiers, qualifiers, price lists).

Strong PL/SQL and SQL development and performance-tuning skills.

Experience developing Concurrent Programs, APIs and integrations in EBS context.

Familiarity with Order Management and Receivables pricing touchpoints and data flows.

Proficiency with XML/BI Publisher, Forms/Reports and debugging production issues.

Clear technical documentation and cross-team communication capability.
