Key Responsibilities

  • Project Costing: Track and manage project-related expenditures, including labor hours via Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), and material costs from Payables and Purchasing.
  • Project Billing: Generate and manage customer invoices, revenue recognition based on percentage of completion (POC), and billing events.
  • Financial Reporting: Reconcile project subledgers with the General Ledger (GL) and prepare profitability, budget-vs-actual, and variance reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor project budgets, perform re-forecasting, and manage financial commitments and work-in-progress (WIP).
  • System Configuration (Consultant Role): Perform full lifecycle implementations, including defining project structures, labor costing rules, and integration touchpoints with AP, AR, and GL.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Ensure all transactions adhere to corporate policies, revenue recognition guidelines, and government contract regulations (e.g., FAR, DCAA).
