About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PPM Functional Consultant to configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions for enterprise IT project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle PPM configuration, resource management, project costing, budgeting, reporting, and integrations with Jira and other enterprise applications.

This role requires close collaboration with PMO, Finance, and IT teams to deliver scalable project management solutions while ensuring governance, reporting accuracy, and seamless project lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Oracle PPM modules, including:
  • Project Management
  • Resource Management
  • Project Costing
  • Budgeting
  • Configure project templates, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task hierarchies, milestones, and project classifications.
  • Manage Oracle PPM integrations with Jira and other enterprise applications using REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, or native connectors.
  • Collaborate with PMO and business stakeholders to gather requirements and configure Oracle PPM solutions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, workflow failures, and data synchronization.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Oracle PPM, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
  • Develop portfolio, resource utilization, budget tracking, and milestone reports.
  • Define governance standards for project creation, naming conventions, status management, and time-entry processes.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PPM Cloud or Oracle Project Portfolio Management.
  • Experience configuring Oracle PPM for IT project planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Project Setup
  • WBS
  • Resource Management
  • Project Costing
  • Budget Planning
  • Experience integrating Oracle PPM with Jira using REST APIs, MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or native connectors.
  • Experience with Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher reporting.
  • Understanding of IT project lifecycle and PMO methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Management Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience working in Agile or Hybrid delivery environments.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Experience in Consulting, BPO, or Shared Services organizations.
