Line Role Summary
Oracle SQL Developer (3–5 yrs) with strong PL/SQL skills, good exposure to query optimization, and preferred experience in Eagle Data Warehouse or ETL tools
We are looking for a skilled Oracle SQL Developer with 3–5 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, with a good understanding of database performance tuning and exposure to data warehousing or ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large-scale datasets.
- Analyze execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Support production issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in database design, data modeling, and code reviews.
- Maintain proper documentation for database processes and changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and analytical functions.
- Good understanding of indexing, partitions, views, and database design concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation techniques.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience in SQL query performance optimization (execution plans, tuning, indexing strategies).
- Exposure to Eagle Data Warehouse (including Positions View).
- Experience working with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar).
- Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Reports).
- Understanding of financial services or investment domain (preferred but not mandatory).

Education
