Oracle PL/SQL Developer with EBS

Oracle ERP developer:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a

strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Enterprise Resource Planning

(ERP) systems. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing,

implementing, and maintaining robust Oracle solutions, focusing on both out-of-the-box

functionalities and extensive customizations. This role requires deep technical expertise

in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and a comprehensive understanding of key Oracle EBS

modules, including Order Management, Shipping, Inventory, Delivery, and Depot Repair.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures,

packages, functions, and triggers to support and enhance Oracle EBS applications.

• Develop and customize Oracle EBS applications based on business

requirements, including forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW

objects).

• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for maximum performance and

efficiency within the Oracle database environment.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS modules, resolving

complex issues related to performance, data integrity, and system errors.

• Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and end-users to gather,

analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

• Implement and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, ensuring

alignment with business processes and requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom reports, forms, and interfaces within Oracle EBS

using Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle

Workflow, and BI Publisher.

• Gain a strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and data models to

effectively develop and maintain applications.

• Work extensively with Oracle ERP modules, including Order Management,

Shipping, Inventory, and Delivery, to support end-to-end business processes.

• Utilize knowledge of Oracle Depot Repair to manage and optimize processes

related to customer service requests, repairs, and returns, integrating with other Oracle

modules like Order Management and Inventory.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including

requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Conduct regular system audits, apply patches, and participate in system

upgrades to ensure compliance and security.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and Oracle E-

Business Suite (EBS) technical development and support.

• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including the ability to write

complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Extensive experience with Oracle EBS customization and development, including

Forms, Reports, Workflows, and Events.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle EBS modules, specifically Order

Management, Shipping, Inventory, and Delivery.

• Familiarity with Oracle Depot Repair module functionalities and its integration

with other Oracle EBS modules.

• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS out-of-the-box functionalities and the ability

to design and implement solutions using standard and customized approaches.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Oracle

EBS applications.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to

collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
