Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 6–9 years of experience to join the Business Intelligence & Analytics team. The role involves developing scalable Oracle-based solutions, building ETL pipelines, designing data warehouse models, and supporting PnL‑critical data flows. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, upstream/downstream teams, and contribute to high‑quality, reliable data integration and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects including packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and tables.
- Design and develop Oracle APEX forms and applications to support business reporting and operational workflows.
- Architect and implement data warehouse solutions following best practices — dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and SCD strategies.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines for accurate and efficient data integration across source and target systems.
- Build and maintain end-to-end data flow pipelines, including pushing data into the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate workflows and support pipeline execution.
- Schedule, monitor, and manage batch jobs using Control-M, ensuring timely and reliable execution.
- Create and maintain code branches using Git, following the team's branching and release protocols.
- Generate and validate builds across development, testing, pre-production, and production environments.
- Perform dry runs in the pre-production environment prior to production deployments.
- Execute controlled production deployments in adherence to change management protocols.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and peer code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
- Monitor PnL data flows, identify breaks and anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream technical teams on integration design and data flows.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, including runbooks and deployment procedures.
Required Skills and Qualification
- 6–7 years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience in an enterprise environment.
- Deep proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL — packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX — ability to design, develop, and maintain APEX forms and applications.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts — dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, and data mart design.
- Strong ETL development experience — designing, building, and optimizing pipelines for large-scale data integration.
- Shell Scripting — mandatory — for automation, pipeline support, and operational workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M or equivalent job scheduling tools.
- Experience with Git — branching, merging, tagging, and release management.
- Proven experience in build generation, pre-production dry runs, and production deployments.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Platforms or equivalent data lake/warehouse environments.
- Experience in testing methodologies — unit, regression, integration, and UAT.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in PnL monitoring and break analysis.
- Excellent communication skills — able to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with upstream and downstream technical teams.
Good to have Skills
- Experience in commodities trading, financial services, or capital markets.
- Exposure Python for scripting or pipeline development.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Reporting experience with any in-memory analytics or BI tools — Qlik Sense, QlikView, Nprinting, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, or Tableau.
