Role: Oracle MDM Developer

Job Description:
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) solutions for electricity, water, or gas utilities.
- Work on end-to-end MDM lifecycle including data acquisition, validation, estimation, editing (VEE), and billing determinants.
- Configure and manage Service Points, Measuring Components, Usage Subscriptions, and Device configurations.
- Design and implement VEE rules, estimation logic, and exception handling workflows.
- Integrate MDM with upstream and downstream systems such as:
- Head-End Systems (HES)
- Oracle CC&B / C2M
- Billing and Customer Systems
- Develop and customize using:
- OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework)
- Algorithms, Business Objects (BOs), Business Services (BS), Service Scripts
- Perform data mapping, data migration, and data quality analysis for smart meter deployments.
- Work on interval and scalar data processing, load profiling, and aggregation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support for MDM applications.
- Optimize system performance, batch jobs, and data processing workflows.
- Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and ensure defect resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Support AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) implementations and integrations.
- Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, and user documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Good understanding of Smart Metering / AMI concepts.
- Hands-on experience with OUAF framework.
- Knowledge of:
- VEE rules & estimation
- Interval data processing
- Device and meter lifecycle
- Familiarity with batch processing and performance tuning.
- Understanding of utility domain (Electricity/Water/Gas).
