Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant to design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud applications such as ERP, HCM, SCM and external systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen2, REST/SOAP services, OIC adapters, data mapping, transformations, error handling, and production support. The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Design & Development
  • Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen2.
  • Build and manage:
  • App-Driven Integrations
  • Scheduled Integrations
  • Orchestrations
  • Lookups and Packages
  • Perform data mappings, transformations, and validations using the OIC Mapper.
  • Implement reusable and scalable integration patterns following Oracle best practices.
Adapters & Connectivity

Develop and manage integrations using OIC adapters, including:

  • ERP Cloud Adapter
  • HCM Cloud Adapter
  • REST Adapter
  • SOAP Adapter
  • FTP/SFTP Adapter
  • DB Adapter
  • Handle file-based inbound/outbound integrations.
  • Develop API-based real-time integrations.
API & Web Services
  • Design, consume, and expose REST and SOAP web services.
  • Work with JSON, XML, XSD, and WSDL payloads.
  • Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, and certificates.
Error Handling, Monitoring & Production Support
  • Implement fault policies and reusable error-handling frameworks.
  • Configure notifications and integration tracking.
  • Monitor integrations and troubleshoot:
  • Data errors
  • Connectivity issues
  • Performance issues
  • Provide L2/L3 production support and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization.
Testing & Deployment
  • Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT cycles.
  • Fix defects and support retesting activities.
  • Support migration across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
  • Prepare deployment notes and rollback plans.
Documentation & Collaboration
  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Integration Design Documents (HLD/LLD)
  • Interface Control Documents (ICD)
  • Mapping Specifications
  • Runbooks and Support Documentation
  • Collaborate with Functional Consultants, VBCS teams, and client stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience specifically in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Oracle Integration Cloud / OIC
  • REST & SOAP Web Services
  • JSON, XML, XSD
  • Data Mapping & Transformations
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Good understanding of integration lifecycle and SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with OIC integrations, adapters, orchestration, monitoring, and error handling.
