Project Description

• Support clients in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Cerner EHR environments.
• Work with healthcare IT systems to ensure reliable and efficient medication management workflows.
• Gain hands-on experience with Cerner infrastructure, system workflows, and healthcare technology best practices.
• Collaborate with experienced consultants and technical leaders while supporting client implementations and production environments.

• Focus: Design, build, validation, and production support of medication workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for Oracle Health PharmNet and Medication Process.
• Support end-to-end medication workflows, from order entry through administration and charging.
• Troubleshoot issues related to medication orders, verification, dispensing, BCMA, and eMAR.
• Resolve incidents within SLA while ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.
• Configure and maintain PharmNet medication management components.
• Configure and support Bar-Code Medication Administration (BCMA) workflows.
• Perform system validation, testing, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability and optimize medication workflows.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Millennium PharmNet and Medication Process.
• Comprehensive understanding of Oracle Millennium medication workflows.
• Hands-on experience with medication management configuration, including:
• Auto substitution and auto verification
• BCMA (Bar-Code Medication Administration)
• Bedrock configuration
• CKI mapping
• Units of measure
• Drug forms
• Frequencies
• Routes of administration
• eMAR
• Dosage calculation
• Dose range checking
• Order entry fields
• Formulary management
• Order sentence design
• PowerPlans
• Pharmacy rules
• Medication charging
• Experience with Omnicell or other medication dispensing systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Oracle Health vaccine medication processes.
• Knowledge of vaccine design, analysis, build, validation, and testing.
• Experience with vaccine alias management and code set maintenance.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT best practices and production support processes.
