Hiring | Oracle HCM Functional Consultant – Learning & US Payroll

Birlasoft Ltd. is looking for experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultants with strong expertise in Oracle Learning and US Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Work on Oracle Cloud HCM Learning and US Payroll functional implementations and support engagements.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM solutions.
Configure and support Oracle Learning, including:
Learning Catalog
Courses and Offerings
Learning Activities
Learning Initiatives
Learning Assignments
Learner Self-Service
Learning Communities
Learning Eligibility
Completion and Compliance Tracking
Learning Notifications
Configure and support Oracle US Payroll, including:
Payroll Definitions
Legislative Data
Elements and Element Entries
Payroll Relationships
Calculation Cards
Tax-related configurations
Payroll Flows
QuickPay
Payroll Calculation and Validation
Prepayments and Payments
Payroll Costing
Support payroll processing, troubleshooting and reconciliation activities.
Work with business users to analyze payroll and learning requirements and provide functional solutions.
Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks and test scenarios.
Execute configuration, unit testing, SIT and UAT.
Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reports and data migration.
Participate in client workshops and provide functional recommendations.
Support end-to-end implementation activities through Go-Live and post-production stabilization.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Functional

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Learning

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle US Payroll

Experience with at least one end-to-end Oracle HCM implementation

Good understanding of US Payroll legislative and statutory requirements

Experience in payroll configuration, payroll flows and troubleshooting

Strong understanding of Learning configuration and learner processes

Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing and production support

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

Oracle HCM Cloud certification
Experience with Core HR
Knowledge of Absence Management
Exposure to Oracle Redwood HCM
Knowledge of HDL/HSDL
Exposure to Fast Formula
Knowledge of OTBI/BIP reporting
Experience with Oracle HCM integrations
Experience in global/multi-country implementations

We are looking for candidates with strong functional experience in both Oracle Learning and US Payroll, preferably with hands-on implementation experience and the ability to independently manage requirements, configuration, testing and production support.
