Oracle HCM Benefits & Compensation Consultant / Analyst – Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Benefits & Compensation professional to join our HR technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits, Workforce Compensation with hands-on experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
This role will work closely with HR, payroll, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design and support scalable compensation and benefits solutions aligned with business policies and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits and Workforce Compensation modules.
- Gather business requirements from HR, Total Rewards, payroll, and compensation teams.
- Design and implement benefit plans, eligibility profiles, rates, life events, enrollment rules, and self-service flows.
- Configure compensation cycles, salary basis, budgets, worksheets, approvals, stock/bonus plans, and variable pay components.
- Support annual merit, bonus, promotion, and compensation review cycles.
- Collaborate with payroll and finance teams for compensation data validation and downstream integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to benefits enrollments, compensation plans, and data discrepancies.
- Perform SIT, UAT, regression, and post-production validation.
- Create and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test cases, and SOPs.
- Partner with reporting teams to support OTBI/BIP reports for compensation and benefits analytics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax rules, statutory requirements, and audit controls.
- Support quarterly Oracle release impact analysis and testing.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Benefits.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Workforce Compensation.
- Good understanding of Core HR, Payroll, Absence, and Talent modules.
- Experience with benefit life events, enrollment windows, rates, and eligibility configuration.
- Expertise in salary structures, compensation plans, budgets, approvals, and compensation statements.
- Strong knowledge of HDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
- Experience in data migration, testing, and production support.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement gathering skills.
- Knowledge of integration touchpoints with payroll, finance, and third-party vendors.
