Role: Oracle HCM functional Consultant (Absence + OTL)

Exp: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Bangalore , Chennai, Pune, Noida, Jaipur

Modules: Absence + OTL

Note: It's a support project.

POSITION SUMMARY

Position Overview:

The Absence & Time and Labor (OTL) Sr. Associate is responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing the Absence Management and Time & Labor modules within Oracle Fusion HCM.

This role ensures accurate setup and maintenance of employee time tracking, leave management, and workforce scheduling processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organizational policies. The role plays a key part in delivering high-quality managed services support and continuous system improvements.

Time and Labor (OTL) Management:

  • End-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Time and Labor (OTL).
  • Configure time entry rules, time calculation rules, processing profiles, and approval workflows.
  • Manage timecards, schedules, shifts, and labor costing configurations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement time tracking policies and workforce management processes.
  • Ensure integration with Payroll, Absence Management, and Core HR modules.
  • Support overtime calculations, shift differentials, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot time entry and processing issues and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Ability to understand global time policies including U.S. workforce practices.

Absence Management:

  • Design and configure absence plans, absence types, accrual rules, eligibility profiles, and approval workflows.
  • Manage accrual-based, entitlement-based, and compensatory leave plans.
  • Support leave requests, absence entry, approvals, and plan enrollments.
  • Handle leave balances, carryover rules, and accrual calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company leave policies.
  • Support integrations between Absence, Time & Labor, and Payroll systems.
  • Ability to understand U.S. and global absence policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must-Have Skills (Hands-on AMS Support Experience):

  • Proven expertise and hands-on experience in handling:
  • Incidents, Service Requests, Enhancements, and Configurations
  • Time and Labor (OTL):
  • End-to-end lifecycle implementation and support experience
  • Absence Management:
  • End-to-end lifecycle implementation and support experience
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Time tracking, scheduling, validation rules, and approvals
  • Leave policies, accruals, eligibility, and entitlements
  • Ability to troubleshoot post-go-live production issues and support business-critical processes
  • Experience managing year-end activities and quarterly updates
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of integration points with Payroll, Core HR, and other HCM modules
  • Ability to understand and work with Fast Formulas (Time & Absence related)
