Job Description-

Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, tune SQL queries, optimize database parameters, and monitor system resource utilization

Troubleshooting: Resolve complex database issues, troubleshoot performance problems, and provide technical support.

Collaboration: Work with Application developers, system administrators, and business to streamline database processes and support business objectives

Database/ Goldengate Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Oracle databases/goldengate according to specific requirements, including setting up database servers, design storage allocation

Database Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as monitoring database activity, optimizing performance, and implementing backup and recovery strategies.

Patch Management: Knowledge in Apply patches and upgrades to Oracle databases, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Required Skills:

Experience with Oracle Tools: Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Data Pump, and other Oracle tools

Strong Oracle Database Knowledge: Proficiency in Oracle database architecture, data structures, OEM and SQL.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with database administration tools, scripting

languages (e.g., Unix shell scripting), and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
