An Oracle HCM Technical Consultant with 6+ years of experience & is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions within the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud platform, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems, often collaborating closely with functional consultants to deliver a complete HCM solution for clients.
Required Skills and Experience:
. Candidate must have 6+ years of working experience in Oracle HCM (implementation/support)
. Experience with Oracle Cloud development tools like Redwood VBS, HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas, and BI Publisher
. Candidates should have functional understanding of core HCM processes including ORC, performance management, payroll, and benefits (preferably US legislation)
. Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and database concepts
. Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud architecture, APIs, and integration mechanisms
. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
. Create and maintain appropriate documentation for architecture, design, technical, implementation, support and test activities.
. Exposure to personalization/Sandbox
. Knowledge in implementing redwood.
. Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud services like OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) can be beneficial.
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Career Level - IC3
. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Oracle HCM Cloud tools like HDL, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts (Inbound/Outbound), BI Reports, and SQL.
. Design and develop custom integrations, data mappings, and interfaces between Oracle HCM and other systems.
. Implement & perform data migration using HDL & HSDL Oracle HCM Cloud.
. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality and data integrity.
. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during testing phases.
. Provide ongoing technical support to end users, resolving issues and addressing system inquiries.
. Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
. Analyze & coordinate with customers for Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly updates and patches.
