Job Description

Position: Oracle Fusion SCM Solution Architect

Location: Chennai - Hybrid/Onsite

Shift Timing: 3.00AM to 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

Engagement Type: Full Time

About the role: We are looking for an Oracle Fusion SCM Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management solutions. This role will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving supply chain excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and design of Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics)
  • Collaborate with business leaders to gather supply chain requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, solution design workshops, and prepare detailed functional/technical specification documents
  • Define integration architecture between Oracle SCM Cloud and other enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, 3PL)
  • Oversee configuration, customization, and testing of Oracle Fusion SCM modules
  • Guide and mentor functional/technical consultants across the project lifecycle
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution demos, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimation
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, data security, and audit requirements
  • Lead cutover planning, data migration, and post-go-live hyper-care activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of Oracle SCM processes post-implementation

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM implementations, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Fusion / Cloud SCM
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM modules:

– Inventory Management

– Procurement & Purchasing (iProcurement, Self-Service Procurement)

– Order Management & Fulfillment

– Manufacturing (Discrete / Process)

– Supply Chain Planning (ASCP, Demand Management, S&OP)

– Logistics & Transportation Management

– Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

  • Proven track record of leading full-cycle Oracle Fusion SCM implementations as Solution Architect
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Plan-to-Produce (P2P), Forecast-to-Fulfill (F2F)
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI/ADFDI data loading tools
  • Familiarity with OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle SCM Cloud Reporting
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder.
