Oracle Fusion Finance with Vertex

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and modify the current Vertex configuration for business units to ensure efficiency and accuracy in the postGo-Live environment.

Maintain ongoing updates in rules, rates, and taxability logic for the Oracle Fusion ERP system.

Create custom tax rules in Vertex based on specific business requirements.

Integrate Vertex with Oracle Fusion Cloud and ensure seamless data flow.

Manage withholding tax, TDS, and VAT configurations and processing.

Work on interfaces and integrations with third-party systems related to tax processing.

Map product groups to the Vertex-defined tax matrix for standard goods and services.

Resolve technical issues related to tax assist rule hierarchies and Vertex lookup tables.

Update RICEF documentation for all related developments.

Provide technical guidance for development and coding for industry-specific excise tax processing, compliance, and reporting.

Develop test case scenarios for regression testing cycles and track outcomes.

Troubleshoot issues related to Vertex returns and ensure timely resolution.

Prior consulting experience in Vertex is highly desirable.
