Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, enhancements, and postgo-live support engagements. This role requires strong domain expertise in finance and accounting processes, hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financial modules, and proven leadership capabilities to drive successful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Act as the primary functional lead for Fusion Finance engagements, owning solution design and ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into scalable Fusion solutions.
- Drive finance process optimization by leveraging Oracle Fusion best practices and standard functionalities.
- Lead and manage finance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and adherence to scope.
- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to a team of consultants, ensuring consistent delivery standards across the project.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, workshops, CRP sessions, UAT support, and end-user training.
- Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with technical teams on integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions, ensuring functional correctness.
- Lead testing efforts including test strategy, test case review, defect management, and sign-off.
- Act as a key liaison between business, IT, and external stakeholders for finance system enhancements and issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Proven experience as a Finance Functional Lead on multiple Oracle Fusion implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, and period close processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with full lifecycle implementations, including requirement gathering, design, build, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage effectively with senior finance leadership.
- Oracle Fusion Financials certification is a plus.
