Job Description
1. Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead, and be knowledgeable in, hands-on implementation and solution design for
- Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies and Oracle E-business suite R12.
- Individual contributor (IC) role.
- Functional Expertise: FC/BA should possess deep functional knowledge of all
- Oracle Fusion modules and provide functional expertise and guidance on
- configuration and process optimization.
- Business Analysis: FC/BA should bridge the gap between business and IT by
- eliciting and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes,
- and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Eliciting and Documenting Business Requirements: The consultant works closely
- with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. This involves
- conducting meetings, workshops, and surveys to understand the needs and
- expectations of the business.
- Analyzing Business Processes: The consultant analyzes existing business
- processes to identify areas for improvement. This includes mapping out current
- workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing optimized processes that align
- with best practices.
- Participating in System Design and Configuration: The consultant participate in
- the design and configuration of the Fusion ERP system to ensure it meets business
- requirements. This includes defining system specifications, configuring modules,
- and ensuring that the system is set up to support optimized business processes.
- Supporting Change Management Initiatives: The consultant supports change
- management initiatives by helping stakeholders understand the benefits of the new
- system and processes. This includes developing training materials, conducting
- training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption.
- Managing System Integrations, Interfaces, and Data Migrations: The consultant
- helps the technical aspects of system integrations, interfaces, and data migrations.
- This involves ensuring seamless data flow between systems and maintaining data
- accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: The consultant provides technical support
- to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the Fusion ERP system
- and ensures that the system operates smoothly and meets business needs.
- System Upgrades and Enhancements: Participate in system upgrades and
- enhancements, ensuring that the Fusion ERP system remains up-to-date and
- continues to meet business requirements.
- o Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to end-
- users and other team members to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of the
- Fusion ERP system.
- Work closely with technical consultants and business support specialists to ensure
- the successful implementation and support of Fusion ERP system.
- 2. Skills and Qualifications:
- Functional Knowledge: Proficiency of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules - O2C
- (Order to Cash), R2R (Record to Report), P2P (Procure to Pay), Project Portfolio
- Management (PPM), Project Accounting (PA), Oracle Projects.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge about Oracle Fusion technology stack, including PaaS
- Technical, PLSQL, OTBI, and BI Reports.
- Prior Experience: Previous experience in implementing and supporting Oracle
- Fusion ERP systems is Mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders
- and provide training and support to end-users.
- 3. The Oracle ERP Architect must have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/ CA / MBA Finance.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with Oracle Fusion stack and a deep
- understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules and Oracle EBS R12.
- Must have experience in at least 5 project implementations that exploit the full
- capabilities (discover, design, implementation and optimization) of Oracle Fusion
- Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS R12.
- Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical
- individuals.
- Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate others on the latest
- technology trends and best practices.
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting functional/technical documents.
- 4. Additional Considerations:
- Project Management: Experience in managing ERP projects, including planning,
- execution, and monitoring.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical
- issues related to Fusion ERP system.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring that the Fusion ERP system complies with
- various regulatory requirements and maintaining robust security measures to
- protect sensitive data.
