As an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you will act as a primary post-sales contact for customers, delivering both functional and technical expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP modules. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, provide guidance on best practices, and serve as a trusted advisor-effectively bridging business requirements with Oracle Cloud capabilities.
This role demands a strong blend of functional domain knowledge and hands-on technical proficiency, combined with a customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating within a 24/7 support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary post-sales support contact for Oracle Cloud customers, resolving complex functional and technical issues across ERP modules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate business and system problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Translate customer business requirements into Oracle Cloud configurations and recommend optimal solutions aligned with best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical support for integrations, data loads, reports, and workflows using Oracle tools and frameworks.
- Manage escalated cases by collaborating with cross-functional internal teams while setting clear and realistic expectations with customers.
- Drive continuous improvement in support processes, tools, and documentation to enhance overall service delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation for solutions, issue resolutions, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with Oracle Cloud releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in BE, BTech, MCA, CA, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, or SCM implementation and/or support.
Hands-on experience in at least five modules within one pillar:
ERP Modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, IBY, PA, CST, ZX, PSA
- Strong understanding of business processes and functional troubleshooting capabilities.
- Advanced technical expertise in:
- SQL, PL/SQL
- OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS
- FBDI, ADFDI
- BPM Workflows, ADF Faces
- BI Extract (FTP), Payment Integrations, Personalizations
- Experience in L2/L3 production support environments.
- Willingness to work rotational evening and night shifts.
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to multiple Oracle Cloud pillars (e.g., ERP + HCM or SCM).
- Experience in customer-facing consulting or support roles.
- Prior involvement in product escalations or global customer environments.
- Knowledge of release management and cloud patching cycles.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
