- Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead, and be knowledgeable in, hands-on implementation and solution design for
Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies.
- Individual contributor (IC) role.
- Design and optimize ERP solutions: The architect should be able to design and
optimize ERP solutions to meet business requirements and ensure scalability.
- Technical Expertise: The architect should possess deep understanding of ERP
modules such as O2C (Order to Cash), R2R (Record to Report), and P2P (Procure to
Pay), and provide functional expertise and guidance on configuration and process
optimization. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion technology stack, including PaaS Technical,
VBCS, OIC, PLSQL, OTBI, and BI Reports.
Having strong technical knowledge for managing integrations, custom developments,
and providing technical support.
- The architect will work closely with functional consultants, technical consultants, and
business support specialists to ensure the successful implementation and support of
Fusion ERP systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ERP
systems. This skill is essential for maintaining the optimal performance of the Fusion
ERP system and addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaboration: The role involves collaboration with various departments and
stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of ERP systems.
- Manage Integrations: Handling the technical aspects of ERP systems, including
managing integrations, custom developments, and providing technical support.
- Support Implementation: The architect supports the implementation of Fusion ERP
systems, ensuring that the solutions are aligned with business needs and are
effectively integrated into the existing infrastructure.
- Customization and Configuration: Balancing the need for customization to meet
specific business requirements.
- Conduct Training and Knowledge Transfer: They conduct training sessions and
knowledge transfer to end-users and other team members to ensure smooth adoption
and effective use of the ERP system.
- Participate in System Upgrades: The architect participates in system upgrades and
enhancements, ensuring that the Fusion ERP system remains up-to-date and
continues to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: The architect support end-users in resolving
issues and queries related to the Fusion ERP system.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring that the Fusion ERP system complies with
various regulatory requirements and maintaining robust security measures to protect
sensitive data is critical.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Fusion technology stack, including PaaS
Technical, VBCS, OIC, PLSQL, OTBI, and BI Reports.
- Functional Knowledge: Understanding of ERP modules such as O2C (Order to Cash),
R2R (Record to Report), and P2P (Procure to Pay), Project Portfolio Management
(PPM), Project Accounting (PA), Oracle Projects.
- Experience: Previous experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion ERP
systems is crucial.
- The Oracle ERP Architect must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with Oracle Fusion technology stack
and a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules and Oracle EBS R12.
- Must have experience in at least 5 project implementations that exploit the full
capabilities (discover, design, implementation and optimization) of Oracle Fusion
Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS.
- Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals.
- Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate others on the latest
technology trends and best practices.
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting functional/technical documents.
- Experience with Java, Object Oriented Programming, and application development.
- Experience developing web services that interface into Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Experience with Oracle ERP, SCM, Financials, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle
SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
- Additional Considerations:
- Project Management: Experience in managing ERP projects, including planning,
execution, and monitoring. Coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring that
the project stays on track.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to
Fusion ERP system.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders
and provide training and support to end-users.
