Role: Oracle eBS Technical Consultant

Exp year: 7+ years

Expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12)

Location: Remote / Chennai

Design, develop and support enhancements for the Finance systems, Mainly for Oracle eBS R12 but also other associated applications.

Must have experience in PLSQL, SQL, OAF, APEX, SOA and other technologies related to Oracle eBS and Salesforce or .Net. Knowledge of Incorta or other BI reporting tools and good business process / dashboard reporting analysis experience will be an advantage.

Using excellent knowledge of development processes and procedures. a Senior Software Engineer is involved in the timely execution and delivery of tasks in the areas of product design, product development, component testing, quality assurance, and product maintenance

Key technical skills and experience:

- Oracle R12.2 on-premise applications

- PLSQL, SQL, OAF, Workflow Builder, APEX, Java, SOA

- Salesforce custom application development / support

- .Net custom application development / support

- Reporting tools - Incorta, other BI dashboard reporting tools

- Structured business process, data, and BI reporting analysis

- Oracle AIM documentation

- JIRA, ServiceNow

Job Functions

• Design and develop and maintain software solutions under the direction of a Team Lead and/or designee.
• Must be able to work in conjunction with Oracle eBS functional consultants to complete a technical design, based on a functional design, and be able to unit test components independently.
• Delivers to a high quality standard within agreed time scales.
• Plans and takes ownership of own work and any issues relating to same.
• Solves problems that arise in own area of responsibility.
• Develops technical competence on technologies relating to assignments and other technologies as directed
• Provides regular feedback to manager and/or immediate lead on work status and problem areas.
• May proactively help project manager / scrum master with the project schedule.
• Actively supports teamwork both within own group and across Development, by offering assistance to other team members in an effort to achieve team goals.

• Accountable for following defined processes and procedures, and highlighting in a timely manner any related problems with same.
• Accountable for applying knowledge and ingenuity to solve basic to moderate problems that arise in areas of responsibility, and escalating when necessary.
• Accountable for the timely execution of agreed objectives, to a high quality standard, under the direction of a Senior Lead and, where necessary, with the guidance of more experienced Developers
