Oracle SCM Functional Consultant (EBS R12.2 ASCP)
Location: Onsite - Hyderabad
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, specifically Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Oracle Workflow within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in:
- ASCP configurations and plan setups
- Planning data flows and collections
- Forecast integration (Demantra / ASCP)
- Planning analytics outputs (ASCP / APCC)
- Workflow-driven SCM business processes
- Troubleshooting workflow issues across SCM transactions
The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge across core SCM modules and the ability to support both planning and execution processes end-to-end.
Key Skills & Experience
Oracle SCM & ASCP Expertise
- Strong Oracle EBS R12.2.x SCM experience
- Deep expertise in Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Data Collections & Troubleshooting
- Demantra ASCP Forecast Integration
- APCC Outputs
- Knowledge of:
- Constrained & Unconstrained Planning
- Plan Options and Planning Methods
- Minimum of one full ASCP implementation or strong ASCP support engagement
Workflow Expertise (Required)
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Workflow (WF) within SCM modules.
Ability to:
- Troubleshoot stuck workflows, errored notifications, and background engine issues
- Analyze workflow using:
- Workflow Status Monitor
- WF tables (WF_ITEMS, WF_NOTIFICATIONS, etc.)
- Work with technical teams on custom workflow issues
- Identify and resolve workflow notification failures
Experience with workflows in:
- Order Management (OM)
- Purchasing / Approvals
- Custom SCM workflows
Functional SCM Expertise
Strong functional knowledge across:
- Order Management (OM)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Inventory (INV)
- Bills of Material (BOM)
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Costing
Must have strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain planning in a production environment.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Configure and support ASCP planning solutions
- Manage data collections and planning data flows
- Work on forecast integration (Demantra) and analytics reporting (APCC)
- Support end-to-end SCM processes across planning and execution
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Troubleshoot:
- Collection failures
- Planning data inconsistencies
- Workflow errors and stuck transactions
- Workflow notification failures
- Support SIT/UAT testing cycles
- Assist with production stabilization and post-go-live support
- Work within a global delivery model
