Oracle Forms & Reports Developer

Location: Bangalore / Remote

About the role

Kevlar Systems is looking for experienced Oracle Forms & Reports engineers to develop, support and maintain a mission-critical enterprise application for a hospital system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Oracle Forms and Reports, and deliver enhancements, new reports and data exports.
• Support Oracle WebLogic Servers, Oracle Forms Servers and Oracle Reports Servers across the PROD, Test and DEV environments.
• Patch Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, Forms and Reports servers across all environments as requested or required.
• Diagnose and resolve L3 incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Develop and tune PL/SQL packages, procedures and triggers on Oracle Database 19c.
• Take part in preventive maintenance and DR drills.
• Log and document all work in the client's ITSM tool, including root-cause analysis for major incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Forms & Reports development and support (11g/12c).
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning.
• Experience administering and patching Oracle WebLogic / Fusion Middleware and Apache Tomcat.
• Comfortable working on Linux.
• Production support experience in an ITIL-based environment.

Nice to have

• Oracle certifications (OCP, Forms Developer) or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard and DR.
• Integration experience (REST/SOAP web services, message-based interfaces).
