Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in support and implementation of Oracle FLEXCUBE Corporate Core Banking modules.
  • Manage and support various FLEXCUBE Corporate Modules Fund Transfer, Payments, Bills & Collection, Letter of Credit, Loans, and General Ledger.
  • Monitor L2/L3 incident escalations, ensuring closure within defined SLAs.
  • Use defined tools, processes, and change-control steps to maintain compliance with Oracle and client quality standards.
  • Conduct application monitoring, system analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for customization deliveries, patch sets, and fixes.
  • Provide L1/L2 production support, addressing both technical and functional issues.
  • Participate in scheduled weekend activities (e.g., BCM testing, data center maintenance).
  • Work with client IT and support teams to prepare and deliver regular status and defect reports.
  • Support automation and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze debug logs and resolve configuration or system-level issues.
  • Follow structured release and configuration management processes for applying fixes.
  • Ensure security and performance optimization of the core-banking environment.
  • Perform End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) batch operations.
  • Manage customer relationships and handle initial escalations effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking product (implementation and/or production support).
  • Strong technical expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Experience in deployments, backup/restore operations, and source control tools.
  • Exposure to EMS, FlexML, SWIFT, and debug capture processes.
  • Strong knowledge of interfaces, batch operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to perform effective knowledge transfer at the end of assignments.
