Position: Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant

Location: Remote/ Hyderabad (Base Location)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional /Expert with a strong hands-on background in finance and hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and PPM modules. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Subledger Accounting, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) including Project Accounting and Costing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle Financial Cloud implementations.
  • Facilitate client workshops to define to-be business processes.
  • Provide expert oversight for solution design, ensuring adherence to best practices in configuration and deployment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on system customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
  • Act as a functional SME in Oracle Fusion Tax and finance modules (AR, AP, FA, GL, CM) & PPM Modules
  • Guide business users and technical teams by providing deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation including Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and test scenarios.
  • Support issue resolution through Oracle SRs and ensure timely communication with Oracle Support.

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 11+ years of experience in Oracle Financials with at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, SLA, CM, Fusion Tax, and PPM.
  • Excellent understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test cases and managing UAT phases.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud tools: BPM, OTBI, FBDI, and Service Request (SR) Management.
  • Experience with Oracle methodologies such as AIM or OUM.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
