Role: Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) – AMS Support Lead

Role Description:

An Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Manager responsible for leading Oracle Cloud Projects application support, maintenance, enhancements, and service delivery within an Oracle Managed Services engagement. The role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Financial Management, and related financial integrations. The candidate will manage L2/L3 support operations, oversee critical incident resolution, guide functional teams, drive service improvements, and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.

Level: Manager, lead Oracle PPM Managed Services workstreams, manage functional resources, oversee incident and problem management, ensure SLA/KPI compliance, manage escalations, provide functional solution leadership, and drive application stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

AMS Delivery Management: Lead Oracle Fusion PPM production support operations, managing incident resolution, service requests, problem management, configuration changes, and enhancement delivery.

Project Costing Support: Troubleshoot expenditure items, cost distributions, project costing transactions, burden schedules, labor costing, project cost adjustments, and accounting issues.

Project Billing & Contracts: Resolve issues involving project contracts, funding, billing events, invoice generation, revenue recognition, billing controls, and receivables integration.

Project Financial Management: Support project budgets, forecasts, project status controls, financial plans, capitalization, and project accounting.

Cross-Module Integration: Manage complex issues involving Oracle Payables, Procurement, Receivables, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets integrations.

Critical Incident Management: Lead high-priority P1/P2 issue resolution, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Oracle Support escalations.

Configuration & Enhancements: Review and approve functional configuration changes, solution designs, change requests, and minor enhancements.

Quarterly Release Management: Oversee Oracle Fusion quarterly patch assessments, regression testing, release readiness, and business impact validation.

Service Delivery Governance: Track support SLAs, KPIs, incident trends, recurring defects, ticket backlog, and service improvement initiatives.

Team & Stakeholder Management: Manage functional support resources, coordinate with client business leads, participate in governance meetings, and provide regular service delivery updates.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: Oracle ERP, with significant experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM applications.

Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge of Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Financial Management, Project Accounting, and Capital Projects.

Business Process Knowledge: Expertise in project-to-cash processes, project cost management, billing, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation.

Cross-Module Knowledge: Understanding of PPM integration with AP, AR, GL, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.

Managed Services Leadership: Experience leading AMS support teams, managing P1/P2 incidents, service delivery governance, and SLA/KPI management.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle FSM, FBDI, ESS Jobs, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Cloud integrations.

Leadership: Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, escalation handling, and team leadership capabilities.
