Role Summary

We are looking for a senior Oracle ERP Integration Architect with strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Order Management, Oracle Integration Cloud, and enterprise integration architecture. The architect will lead the upstream integration design for exposing Oracle Fusion ERP Order Management data/events through OIC for downstream consumption by Kafka/Flink/Snowflake near-real-time streaming pipelines.

The role requires the ability to work with Oracle ERP SMEs, OIC developers, Kafka/Flink/Snowflake engineers, client stakeholders, and project leadership to define the right integration approach, event/API strategy, payload design, error handling, security model, and deployment approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture for Oracle Fusion ERP Order Management → OIC → Kafka-facing interface integration.
• Assess Oracle Fusion ERP Order Management integration options, including:
• Oracle Fusion Business Events
• Oracle REST APIs
• SOAP services
• BIP reports/extracts
• Scheduled/polling integrations, only where event-driven integration is not feasible
• Identify the correct integration pattern for each agreed Order Management pipeline.
• Define the source-to-OIC and OIC-to-downstream integration boundary.
• Work with NetApp / client Oracle ERP SMEs to identify relevant Order Management objects, business events, fields, payloads, trigger conditions, and validation rules.
• Define high-level data contracts and payload expectations for downstream Kafka/Flink/Snowflake consumption.
• Review and approve OIC low-level design documents prepared by OIC Designer/Developers.
• Guide OIC connection design, adapter usage, transformation approach, exception handling, retry logic, logging, monitoring, and auditability.
• Ensure the design supports near-real-time downstream data movement into Snowflake through Kafka/Flink.
• Identify source-system dependencies, OIC environment needs, access requirements, security requirements, risks, and assumptions.
• Support SIT, E2E testing, UAT, and production rollout from an architecture perspective.
• Lead technical triage for defects that span Oracle Fusion ERP, OIC, Kafka, Flink, and Snowflake boundaries.
• Support client design reviews, architecture walkthroughs, governance meetings, and change-control discussions.
• Ensure OIC-related scope is clearly separated from Oracle Fusion functional ownership and downstream Kafka/Flink/Snowflake ownership.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, especially Order Management.
• Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud architecture.
• Experience designing integrations using:
• Oracle ERP Cloud Adapter
• REST Adapter
• SOAP Adapter
• Business Events
• Scheduled integrations
• Lookups and mappings
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Order Management entities such as:
• Order headers
• Order lines
• Order status
• Fulfillment status
• Customer/account details
• Shipping details
• Pricing attributes
• Transaction attributes
• Strong understanding of event-driven and API-led integration architecture.
• Ability to define integration data contracts and source-to-target mapping principles.
• Understanding of authentication and security models such as OAuth, basic authentication, certificates, service accounts, secrets, and network access controls.
• Experience with integration monitoring, error handling, replay, retry, exception handling, and operational support design.
• Good understanding of downstream streaming/data platforms such as Kafka, Confluent Cloud, Flink, Snowflake, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong client-facing communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion ERP with Kafka or event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with Confluent Cloud, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Snowflake.
• Experience in near-real-time analytics, operational reporting, or order-to-cash data pipelines.
• Experience with Oracle CPQ or Salesforce integration patterns.
• Consulting or large enterprise delivery experience.
