The role of EPM Consultant will provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical analysis and attention to detail while being recognised as a trusted advisor to the team and stakeholders. The characteristics include being versatile, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm to take on new problems across the full SDLC, ultimately assisting in moving technology forward.
The role needs to be proficient on cybersecurity in the cloud, understanding data communication with cryptography / encryption, cloud costs optimization (finops) and good design patterns for application infrastructure. The role also includes analysis of solving incidents (operations mindset) and problems and also ensuring the technology stack runs in a timely manner without any issues. It will deliver a range of technology applications/development services through design, development, programming, testing and maintenance of Technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Experience:
At least 10 years experience in the following tools and capabilities:
Hyperion Infrastructure support and upgrade projects.
Relational databases like Oracle.
AWS and native services like IAM, KMS, EBS, EC2, S3 and RDS.
Experience in application deployment and support of Windows and Linux based hosting of Hyperion apps.
Experience of building CI/CD pipelines and toolsets such as Harness, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
Developed skills in one or more of the programming languages e.g. Python.
Essential capabilities:
Experience in Hyperion infrastructure Support.
Experience on Installation, Configuration of various Hyperion applications/components i.e. HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ODI, FDMEE.
Experience with migration, upgrade, troubleshooting of issues and patching activities.
Experience with implementing SSO, integrating with Azure AD, encryption at rest/in transit and other industry standard Security requirements
Experience with clustering and SSL setup for Hyperion apps.
Knowledge on performance tuning activities to optimize the Hyperion servers and applications
Work with CICD tools like Harness and demonstrate proficiency with AWS cloud.
Work in an agile environment, attending stand-ups, planning and showcases.
Demonstrate strong technical thought leadership that helps resolve technical barriers and roadblocks impacting delivery teams.
Keep up to date with new tools and technologies relevant to the Service and proactively promote new tools and methodologies adoption.
Additional Capabilities:
Batch scheduling via tools such as Control-M
Scripting of batch jobs i.e. python scripting.
Setup alerting and monitoring using Splunk and AppDynamnics.
Excellent documentation and engaging communication skills with proven ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues in plain language to stakeholders
Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
Time management skills are a must, along with the ability to be flexible and creative.
Ability to provide knowledge transfer to team members to enable on-going support and train end users.
