About the Role
We’re looking for someone who lives at the intersection of finance and technology — a functional consultant who can read a balance sheet as fluently as they can configure a consolidation rule. You won’t just implement software. You’ll translate how a CFO thinks about the close, profitability, and data integrity into elegant, scalable Oracle EPM solutions.
If you’ve ever felt the quiet satisfaction of a clean intercompany elimination, a consolidation that ties out to the penny, or a cost allocation model that finally tells the business where the money actually goes — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and deliver Oracle FCCS implementations end-to-end — from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare: consolidation logic, ownership management, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, journals, and the financial close calendar.
- Design and build Oracle EPCM (Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management) models — driver-based allocations, cost pools, profitability reporting, and management views that turn raw cost data into decisions leadership can act on.
- Configure metadata, dimensions, and hierarchies with discipline, ensuring the structures you build today don’t become tomorrow’s technical debt.
- Partner with Finance and Controllership teams to map business processes to system capabilities — and to push back constructively when a requirement is really a workaround in disguise.
- Manage data integration flows into and out of EPM applications (Data Management / Data Integration), ensuring source-to-target reconciliations hold up under audit scrutiny.
- Govern enterprise data by leveraging EDMCS or DRM to maintain master data integrity, manage change requests, and keep dimensional alignment across the EPM ecosystem.
- Author functional design documents, test scripts, and training material that a future consultant (or auditor) will actually thank you for.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, troubleshooting issues calmly when the clock is ticking and stakes are high.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
Core Expertise (Must-Have)
- 4–8 years of hands-on Oracle EPM functional experience, with deep, demonstrable expertise in Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service).
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle EPCM (Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management), including allocation modeling and profitability analysis.
- Solid grasp of financial consolidation concepts: intercompany eliminations, minority / non-controlling interest, currency translation (CTA), equity pickup, and statutory vs. management reporting.
- Practical understanding of the financial close, consolidation, and reporting lifecycle.
- Experience with EPM data integration tools and reconciliation processes.
Valued Exposure (Strong Plus)
- Hands-on exposure to Oracle EDMCS or DRM for master data governance.
- Familiarity with adjacent EPM modules — EPBCS/PBCS (Planning), ARCS (Account Reconciliation), or TRCS (Tax Reporting).
- Experience with reporting tools such as Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, or Smart View.
- Exposure to EPM Automate scripting for task automation.
Mindset & Ways of Working
- A finance-first thinker who's genuinely curious about why the numbers behave the way they do.
- Comfortable being the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams — fluent in both languages.
- Detail-obsessed without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Calm under close-cycle pressure and generous in sharing knowledge with the team
- Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
- Equivalent finance background combined with strong, relevant Oracle EPM project experience will also be considered.
- Oracle EPM certifications (FCCS, EPCM, or EDMCS) are an added advantage.
