Peloton is expanding its Financial Reporting & Consolidation practice and is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Financial Close & Consolidation Lead. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) solutions.

As a Lead, you will work closely with finance leaders and stakeholders to transform financial close, consolidation, and reconciliation processes. You will combine deep accounting knowledge with technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize EPM solutions that drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, including:
  • Application structure and metadata
  • Business rules and calculations
  • Financial reports and dashboards
  • Security and process management
  • Configure and optimize consolidation and reconciliation processes to align with best practices
  • Conduct current-state assessments to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Lead and facilitate design workshops with stakeholders, including finance leadership and executives
  • Design future-state financial close processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and control
  • Support data conversion, integration, and validation activities, including reconciliation and tie-out
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
  • Support deployment, testing, and post-go-live stabilization of EPM applications
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on financial close, consolidation, and reconciliation processes
  • Provide expertise on accounting standards, reporting requirements, and compliance considerations
  • Support client decision-making with insights and recommendations
  • Lead workstreams and mentor junior consultants on project delivery and best practices
  • Foster knowledge sharing and capability development within the team
  • Contribute to the growth of the Financial Reporting & Consolidation practice
  • Support pre-sales activities, including solutioning, demos, and proposal development
  • Develop methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property

Requirements Gathering & Process Transformation

  • Conduct current-state assessments to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Lead and facilitate design workshops with stakeholders, including finance leadership and executives
  • Design future-state financial close processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and control

Implementation & Data Management

  • Support data conversion, integration, and validation activities, including reconciliation and tie-out
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
  • Support deploment, testing, and post-go-live stabilization of EPM applications

Client Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on financial close, consolidation, and reconciliation processes
  • Provide expertise on accounting standards, reporting requirements, and compliance considerations
  • Support client decision making with insights and recommendations

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-7 years of experience implementing Oracle EPM solutions, specifically:
  • Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
  • Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
  • Strong understanding of the financial close and consolidation lifecycle, including:
  • Intercompany eliminations
  • Foreign currency translation
  • Ownership structures and equity pickup
  • Consolidated financial reporting
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Experience with financial reporting tools, including Smart View
  • Strong data reconciliation and validation skills
  • Familiarity with audit processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX)
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle implementations (requirements through deployment)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment

  • Experience with enterprise finance transformation initiatives
  • Experience mentoring team members and leading workstreams
  • Prior experience in consulting or advisory environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional Oracle EPM tools, such as:
  • Data Management / FDMEE
  • Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS)
  • Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM)
  • Experience with enterprise finance transformation initiatives
  • Experience mentoring team members and leading workstreams
  • Prior experience in consulting or advisory environments

Compensation

Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location.
