Job Description - Oracle EPBCS Consultant

Company: Willware Technologies

Role: Oracle EPBCS Consultant

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, and support Oracle EPBCS (EPM Cloud) applications.

  • Work on Planning & Budgeting methodologies including Workforce Planning, Capital Asset Planning, and Financial Statement Planning.

  • Design and develop Hyperion Planning forms, scripts, workflows, and business rules.

  • Perform end-to-end automation of Hyperion application tasks.

  • Handle performance tuning, optimization, and recovery of Hyperion applications.

  • Develop and maintain Essbase applications, including calculation scripts and business rules.

  • Write and manage Calc Scripts, MaxL, ESSCMD, partition scripts, and report scripts.

  • Design and implement security models across EPM applications.

  • Integrate FDMEE and ODI with EPM applications.

  • Perform Unix Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues before escalation.

  • Interact with business users to gather requirements, resolve issues, and provide functional support.

  • Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in Oracle EPM Cloud.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Hyperion EPM administration, design, development, and support.

  • 3-4 years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS / EPMBCS.

  • Strong expertise in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and EPBCS modules.

  • In-depth knowledge of Planning & Budgeting processes.

  • Experience in workflow and metadata design in EPBCS.

  • Proficiency in Calc Scripts, Business Rules, MaxL, ESSCMD.

  • Experience with FDMEE and ODI integrations.

  • Good exposure to Unix Shell scripting.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
