We are seeking an experienced (mid-senior level) Oracle EBS Consultant – Finance Module to join our team. This role is available in either a full-time or part-time consultancy capacity, based on candidate availability and project alignment. You will play a key role in ensuring the operational continuity, enhancement, and performance of Oracle's e-Business Suite (Finance module) for an international organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Takes full responsibility for the ongoing availability and development of the Oracle platform.
- Manages change and release processes, liaising with the application management service provider in accordance with SLAs.
- Ensures compatibility with the network infrastructure and personal computers for the international organization and its programme offices.
- Develops and documents standards for change control and configuration management.
- Signs off on system changes following technical and user acceptance testing, ensuring that all requirements have been met.
- Manages users, accounts, privileges, roles, interfaces, batch queues, and printer assignments.
- Identifies and reports all issues related to technical service delivery to the business.
- Implements solutions, including those involving problem and incident management.
- Is accountable for the development of all operational procedures and documentation to maintain a low-risk and secure database environment.
- Provides technical expertise and leadership in performance testing.
- Supports and assists in the implementation of any new systems and/or third-party products related to the Oracle e-Business Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and maintaining ERP systems, specifically Oracle e-Business Suite (Finance module).
- ITIL certification preferred.
- MCSE and MCDST certifications are an added advantage.
Skill & Competencies
- Strong, practical knowledge and experience of Oracle e-Business Suite (Finance module).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suites and database structures.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team.
- Excellent command of English.
