Responsibilities:
- Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12i and Oracle databases (11g/12c)
- Perform single node and multi-node cloning of Oracle EBS instances in Normal and Shared Application Top Architecture
- Monitor and troubleshoot Concurrent Manager issues, performance bottlenecks, and errors
- Serve as the technical lead for developer enhancements and problem resolution
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and fixes
- Deploy code and configuration changes to production environments
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation and availability of global systems through troubleshooting and implementation of fixes
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and products for application development and maintenance
- Analyze and optimize performance issues across application, Concurrent Manager, and database tiers
- Collaborate with technical teams on database query tuning, patch review, configuration, and code migration
- Manage relationships with customers to understand their needs and prioritize projects
- Provide on-call support as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of Oracle EBS administration experience supporting production environments in multi-node, multi-tier data center setups
- Recent experience with Oracle Database 19c and Oracle EBS R12.x versions
- Proficiency in instance patching, cloning, refreshing, backup, and recovery
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS and application performance tuning
- In-depth understanding of EBS R12.2 architecture, including ADOP concepts, dual file system, FMW, PCP, concurrent managers, workflow, and infrastructure layout
- Experience with UNIX/Shell/Perl scripting
- Expertise in Oracle EBS Sysadmin setup tasks such as responsibility, forms, functions, menus, and user setup
- Ability to adapt priorities in fast-changing environments and work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware administration and OBIEE
- Extensive scripting skills in Perl, Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL for alerts, monitoring, reporting, and auditing
- Prior experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other enterprise RDBMS systems
