Job Title: Oracle EBS Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Chennai (Remote)

Note: Candidate must be able to visit the Chennai office once or twice a week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Manufacturing Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Manufacturing modules. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end implementation, support, and enhancement activities.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules:

Bill of Materials (BOM)

Work in Process (WIP)

Discrete Manufacturing

Costing (Standard / Average)

Inventory

Quality (optional)

Gather and analyze business requirements and map them to Oracle EBS solutions.

Prepare functional documents such as BRD, MD50, setup documents, and test cases.

Perform system configuration, SIT/UAT testing, and user training.

Collaborate with technical teams on RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).

Provide production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Participate in implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.

Ensure integration with Purchasing, Order Management, and Finance modules.

Provide functional guidance and best practices to business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules (R12 preferred).

Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes.

Experience in functional setup, configuration, and testing.

Knowledge of costing methods and inventory transactions.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Experience in documentation and client-facing roles.

Good to Have

Experience with Oracle Quality / ASCP.

Basic knowledge of PL/SQL.

Experience in support and enhancement projects.

Manufacturing domain exposure (Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, etc.).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
