The Oracle EBS Manufacturing Architect will work as a member of the Corporate IT Enterprise Applications team and be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for manufacturing within the Oracle E-Business Suite, translating business needs into technical requirements. The role requires deep expertise in manufacturing and supply chain modules, technical skills like SQL, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure alignment with business goals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules (e.g., Work in Process, Bills of Material, Inventory, Costing, Quality, etc.).
- Provide manufacturing subject matter expertise across the Enterprise Applications team for both production support and project related activities.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Oracle EBS Manufacturing configurations and customizations.
- Ensure solutions stay aligned with Overhead Door manufacturing architecture and guiding principles.
- Stay abreast of business processes used across Overhead Door Corporation
- Work cooperatively across business units to provide recommendations for improving business processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other architects to ensure solution integrity.
- Oversee integration with other Oracle modules (e.g., SCM, Finance) and external systems.
- Lead and participate in workshops to gather business requirements and translate into scalable and efficient Oracle EBS solutions.
- Consult with business and Enterprise Application team members on design considerations and solution alternatives
- Create and maintain technical documentation and solution roadmaps.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other team members
Skills/Experience Requirements
- 15+ years experience successfully implementing and supporting Oracle EBS
- Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly manufacturing, supply chain, and finance modules.
- Functional understanding of discrete manufacturing, production scheduling, and shop floor control is crucial.
- Deep understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and data model.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale Oracle EBS implementations.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Highly organized, process oriented with a strong background in discrete manufacturing and supply chain
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in SQL desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
