We are searching for a talented and passionate Oracle EBS Functional Consultant(Supply Chain & Manufacturing) to join our team! Position Summary:

Gathers and documents detailed requirements and collaborates with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs. Identifies advanced test scenarios and tests customizations and configurations.

Essential Functions:

  • We are looking for strong technologists who enjoy working on cross-functional teams and are passionate about what they do. Some responsibilities are:
  • Configure, test, implement and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications and other business applications
  • Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and collaborates with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs
  • Demonstrates a detailed understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrates proficiency with troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to perform moderately complex troubleshooting
  • Identifies interdependencies in programs
  • Identifies more advanced test scenarios and adequately tests customizations and configurations
  • Responsible for planning small/medium sized projects or tasks
  • Makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals/objectives
  • Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques including ability to find root cause and corrective action for given problems
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts
  • Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures
  • Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
  • Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions
  • Supports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updates
  • Participates in incident management and corrective actions
  • Collaborate directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients
  • Understands change is important and adapts well

  • Professionally approaches situations in which conflict is present

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project definition activities including feature analysis and system trade-offs
  • Provides knowledge shares to teammates
  • Reports on project status to various stakeholders

Education Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND 6 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Fluency in English is required
  • Outstanding academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
  • Responsible for implementing and supporting projects for business areas including inventory management, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing processes by using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and proprietary applications
  • Proficiency in at least two Oracle EBS modules: Inventory, Procurement, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, Item Master, and/or Quality Assurance)
  • Experience working with purchasing, manufacturing, or inventory management teams in developing system solutions to improve business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
  • Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
  • Experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language)
  • Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Oracle WMS and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Experience operating within the Agile project management philosophy, specifically scrum methodology
  • Experience working with internationally distributed teams and customers to deliver global solutions
  • Experience with compliance and privacy topics
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of how processes, data, and technology can enable problems and opportunities
  • Experience collaborating with application development teams who develop and support integrations to/from ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS R12.2.X) and external application using modern development technologies
