We are hiring a Techno-Functional Oracle EBS Finance Chain Developer to join our Service Reliability Engineering team. This role blends deep Oracle EBS expertise with modern SRE practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of financial systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle EBS modules, automation, cloud platforms, and data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, with a strong focus on proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Finance Chain Techno-Functional Developer to join our Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role combines deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS with technical expertise and a strong focus on system reliability, automation, and performance optimization. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our financial systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure & Operations: Design and manage scalable infrastructure solutions to support Oracle EBS and related systems.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health using observability tools and performance metrics.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal service disruption.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve recurring issues by identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.
- Automation: Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to align on reliability goals.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and apply modern technologies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Service Reliability: Experience managing highly available systems, including cloud-based infrastructure.
- Programming & Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation to eliminate toil.
- Monitoring & Observability: Strong understanding of monitoring tools, incident management platforms, and metrics analysis.
- Technical Depth: Expertise in system performance tuning, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and security best practices.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Calm and analytical approach to troubleshooting under pressure.
- Systemic Thinking: Ability to understand and design for the broader impact of changes across interconnected systems.
- Ownership: Strong sense of responsibility for system performance and user experience.
Techno-Functional Skills:
The candidate must have techno functional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Oracle EBS Finance Modules:
- Functional and technical knowledge of modules such as AP, AR, GL, FA, CM.
- Experience in customizations, interfaces, and workflows using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and APIs.
Data Warehousing & Cloud Platforms:
Snowflake:
Expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with features like virtual warehouses, data sharing, and time travel.
- Experience in managing Snowflake environments, including security and performance tuning.
- Integration experience with ETL/ELT tools and BI platforms.
Cloud Platforms:
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP for hosting and managing data solutions.
- Experience with cloud-native services like AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Google BigQuery.
- Understanding of cloud security, cost optimization, and monitoring tools.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or a related field.
