Job Description

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Act as a hands-on Solution Architect for Oracle EBS (R12) and Fusion Cloud projects.
  • Design and oversee data conversion and migration strategies for projects moving from EBS to Cloud.
  • Build and review extensions/customizations in both EBS and Cloud (using OIC, ADF, VBCS, Groovy scripts, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Lead technical design for payment format customizations, OM (Order Management) extensions, and algorithm modifications.
  • Architect and manage EBS upgrade projects (R12.1.3 to R12.2.x), including custom code remediation and technical risk mitigation.
  • Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Oversee and participate in development of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
  • Ensure technical deliverables follow Oracle best practices, performance standards, and cloud extensibility guidelines.
  • Provide leadership during CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-production support.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams, business users, and Oracle support to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide governance for development standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1015 years of Oracle Applications experience, with expertise in EBS (R12) and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • EBS: PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow, OAF, AOL, XML Publisher.
    • Cloud: OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, Groovy scripts, VBCS, ADF.
  • Proven experience in data conversions (EBS), data migration to Cloud (FBDI, HDL, ADFdi, OIC integrations).
  • Hands-on experience with extensions and customizations in both EBS and Fusion Cloud.
  • Experience in payment format changes, OM extensions, algorithm changes, and custom approval workflows.
  • Strong background in EBS upgrades (12.1.3 12.2.x), with knowledge of online patching (ADOP) and custom code retrofitting.
  • Excellent skills in performance tuning and troubleshooting across Oracle technologies.
  • Experience in multi-pillar implementations (Finance, SCM, Projects, HRMS) from a technical/solutioning perspective.
  • Ability to work directly with clients, lead workshops, and provide technical roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have

  • Oracle OIC Certification or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing tools in Oracle environments.
  • Exposure to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) for hosting extensions and PaaS solutions.
