Job Summary (7+ Years)
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge in Rebate Management, Supply Chian and/or Oracle Financial modules. The candidate should have experience working through the complete project lifecycle, including business requirement gathering, functional design, development coordination, testing, UAT, production support, and post-go-live support.
The role requires strong business process understanding, functional documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with business users, technical teams, QA teams, and support teams to deliver high-quality Oracle EBS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business users and stakeholders.
- Own and drive assigned tasks across all project phases, including:
- Business requirement gathering
- Functional definition
- Solution design
- Development coordination
- Testing
- UAT support
- Production support
- Prepare functional requirement documents, configuration documents, process flows, and solution design documents.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
- Work with technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle EBS solutions.
- Support CRP sessions, functional walkthroughs, requirement reviews, and UAT sessions.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production issue analysis.
- Work on Trade Promotion and Channel Revenue Management-related business processes.
- Provide functional guidance to junior resources.
- Review deliverables and ensure quality before submission.
- Support production issues, enhancements, and change requests.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of total IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oracle Applications / Oracle EBS experience.
- Strong functional experience in Rebate Management, Supply Chian and/or Oracle Financial modules.
- Experience in gathering requirements and preparing:
- BRD
- FRD
- Functional design documents
- Configuration documents
- Process flow documents
- Test scenarios
- UAT documents
- Ability to understand business processes and convert them into system requirements.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams for development and solution delivery.
- Experience conducting CRP sessions.
- Development support and production support experience.
- Strong issue analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor junior resources and review their work.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Indian IT services, consulting, product, or enterprise implementation environments.
- Exposure to Oracle EBS or Fusion.
- Knowledge of claims, deductions, accruals, settlements, rebates, chargebacks, promotions, budgets, and offer management.
- Understanding of Oracle SCM, Order Management, AR, AP, and GL touchpoints.
- Experience working with offshore, onsite, and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with business and technical teams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Oracle certification, MBA, or MCA will be an added advantage.
