Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Developer with expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Applications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Forms & Reports, BI Publisher, and experience working on conversions, interfaces, and third-party integrations. You will be responsible for the full implementation lifecycle of Oracle solutions, including development, deployment, and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, and packages to support business requirements and applications.
- Create and customize Oracle Forms and Reports to meet business needs.
- Develop and configure BI Publisher reports for various business functions.
- Design and implement Conversions (data migrations), Interfaces, and manage 3rd-party integrations.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and rollout.
- Provide technical expertise during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Participate in implementations and rollouts of Oracle applications in multiple projects (minimum of 3+ projects).
- Assist with developing technical documentation and training materials for business users.
Technical Skills Required:
- Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Strong experience with BI Publisher for reporting.
- Familiarity with Shell Programming for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of Oracle Workflows for business process automation.
- Experience in data conversions, interfaces, and third-party integrations in Oracle environments.
- Solid understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite or Cloud Applications.
- Proficient in system integration and testing methodologies (SIT, UAT).
- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (Fusion) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher.
- At least 3 full project lifecycles (from planning to post-implementation support).
