Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and clone Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c)
- Administer and troubleshoot Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle GoldenGate environments
- Perform regular database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery testing
- Manage database user access, roles, and privileges; handle password resets and account provisioning
- Monitor and tune performance for Oracle databases (SQL tuning, instance tuning, partitioning, etc.)
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
- Perform database creation, decommissioning, updates, and cross-platform migrations
- Support schema, object, and data refresh activities
- Implement and maintain database security, auditing, and compliance procedures
- Set up and manage alerts via OEM, CRONTAB, and custom scripts
- Collaborate with application teams on database design, maintenance, and technical support
- Automate routine DBA tasks for efficiency and reliability
- Maintain documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures
- Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems

Good to Have
- Experience with Oracle FarSync and multi-site standby environments
- Expertise in emcli and OEM-based mass configuration
- Knowledge of OS patching and third-party DB tools
- Cloud experience (OCI/AWS/Azure DBaaS)
