We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems.
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Perform backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Manage database security, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize database queries and performance.
- Implement database patches and upgrades as required.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and management.
- Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, and SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Experience: 4yr to 6yr+ above
Hike: 30 to 50% on present CTC
