Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance.
Perform regular backups and recovery of Oracle databases.
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Assist in database design, development, and implementation of new database applications.
Collaborate with application developers to optimize database queries and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
Maintain documentation related to database configurations and changes.

Skills and Qualifications

6-11 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and internals.
Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard configurations.
Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Hands-on experience with Oracle performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with backup and recovery techniques using RMAN.
Knowledge of Oracle database security and user management.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar.
