Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and system analysis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle 10g/11g installations, configurations, and database security management.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Administration & Configuration:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 10g/11g databases.
• Design, debug, implement, and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.
• Manage capacity planning, storage techniques, and data security.

Performance Optimization & System Analysis:

• Conduct SQL code reviews, performance tuning, and system analysis.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution.
• Oversee metadata management and repository usage.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Understanding of Java (JDeveloper, J2EE, Apache) and Oracle Application Server.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in Oracle database management.

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Oracle DBA certification is a plus.
