We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, optimization, and maintenance, ensuring the reliability and performance of our Oracle databases.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases.
- Monitor database performance and tune databases as necessary.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for data integrity.
- Manage database security and user access controls.
- Perform regular database maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist in database design and architecture planning.
- Provide support for database-related issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Document database processes and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and features.
- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques.
- Understanding of backup and recovery procedures in Oracle.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
