Oracle Database Administrator

Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration and should be able to work independently as well as in a team. The candidate should be able to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Oracle databases
• Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary
• Perform database backups and disaster recovery operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Manage database security and user access
• Develop and maintain database documentation
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure database availability and data integrity

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration
• Experience in Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c
• Experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate
• Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL
• Experience in database backup and recovery operations
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects
