Job Description

  • GoldenGate (Key Requirement)
  • Install, configure, and administer Oracle GoldenGate Classic & Microservices (OGG MA).
  • Build and maintain: o Uni-directional, bi-directional, active-active, and hub-and-spoke topologies.
  • Handle: o Cross-platform replication o Conflict detection & resolution o DDL replication strategies o Integrated Extract/Replicat
  • Troubleshoot lag, checkpoints, trail file issues, and network performance. 2. Core DBA
  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c/21c database environments.
  • Perform backup/recovery using RMAN; validate restore scenarios regularly.
  • Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, ACFS, and cluster components.
  • Manage tablespaces, schema, user security, and resource allocation.
  • Implement Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Perform Capacity planning, database health checks, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Support migration and platform upgrades (AIX/Linux/OCI). 3. Performance Tuning (Expert)
  • Perform SQL Tuning using: o AWR/ASH/ADDM o SQL Monitor & Real-Time SQL Tuning o TKPROF, SQL Trace o Execution plan analysis & plan stability techniques
  • Optimize: o SQL Queries o PL/SQL Logic o Index & partitioning strategies o RAC-aware workload distribution
  • Address contention: o Latches, locks, buffer busy waits, gc waits in RAC
  • Implement SQL Baselines, SQL Profiles, SPO to prevent plan regression.
  • Deep understanding of optimizer behavior, statistics, histograms, and cardinality estimates. 4. Oracle Exadata
  • Manage and optimize workloads on Exadata DMA Activities
  • Patching, Upgrades & Lifecycle Management
  • Core DBA + RAC/ASM Administration
  • Performance Tuning (Exadata-Specific)
  • Exadata System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
  • Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
  • Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
  • Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
  • Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
  • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
  • One or two industry domain knowledge
  • Client Interfacing skills
  • Project and Team management
