We are seeking an experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud Developer to drive development and maintenance of OCC-based applications in a fully remote setup from India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Oracle Commerce Cloud cartridges, pipelines, and Business Manager extensions.
- Implement and optimize RESTful API integrations with third-party systems (ERP, PIM, payment gateways).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and enforce best practices in code quality and performance.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools for automated builds and deployments.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for live commerce environments.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) development.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building and customizing cartridges, pipelines, and Business Manager modules.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services, API integration, and JSON/XML.
- Proficient with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Good SQL/PLSQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of Oracle PIM, Elasticsearch, or other search technologies.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, caching strategies, and A/B testing in e-commerce.
