Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Developer with deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL to lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality enterprise applications. This role will focus on building and maintaining robust, scalable database-driven solutions and custom extensions using Oracle PaaS and Exadata Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a strong understanding of integration technologies including REST APIs and flat file via SFTP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Architect, design, and optimize complex database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views for high-performance applications.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions on Oracle PaaS which integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP, leveraging Exadata Cloud Service.
• Build and support integrations with Oracle Cloud DB using REST APIs, and other scheduled integration using flat file via SFTP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and project managers, to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in PL/SQL and database operations.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to support automation and integration workflows.
• Work with Kafka streams for real-time data processing and integration scenarios.
• Ensure all solutions comply with company policies, security standards, and data governance requirements.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle database development with strong proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Deep understanding of relational database design, optimization, and advanced PL/SQL features (cursors, bulk collections, exception handling, etc.).
• Perform data modeling and database design to support application.
• Strong SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to Oracle PaaS, Exadata Cloud Service, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
• Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming platforms is a strong plus.
